Welcome to Amen Family Child Development Home, where we offer comprehensive and nurturing educational programs for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years old.
We at Amen Family Child Development understand that raising a child takes a village, and being in the heart of Washington, DC we are just that. We partner with children and their families to provide education and child development support.
Our non-traditional approach takes into consideration that life happens 24 hours a day and families need a program that meets them where they are. Our programs are designed to not only educate and care for children but to support parents and guardians through their child’s most tender years with feeding, crawling, walking, talking, potty training, along with the development of a cultured, healthy and loving person.

As childcare providers, we believe that ALL children are diverse and unique individuals who have strengths and are naturally curious. Children need to be given an organized, child-directed learning environment that is built on mutual respect, fun, discovery, and literacy and also addresses their sensory needs. Amen Family Child Development has a supportive environment that provides the conditions for all children to construct knowledge, focusing on their learning process rather than the end product.
